The journey into the unknown is frightening but exciting. For this art project, I put myself in there, in the unknown, and explored many of the different stairs of Savannah. Stairs are a metaphor for exploring the unknown, or different contexts, and each step's characteristics convey a unique message. The challenge of this project was how to make people storytellers in their experience in this exciting exploration of the Unknown.

To begin, we need to ask ourselves what is unknown, or what does unknown mean. Everyone has an abstract feeling and a concrete picture of the Unknown in their mind. 

How do we convey the abstract experience of exploring the Unknown to the audience? The investigation of materials is significant for design. In this process, the design should consider the two sides of the stairs and combine people's behavior of stepping on them.
